Is mediumship the actual liberation in Christianity?

Mediums are never "official". They work for the great spirit and need no formalised recognition to become official.

I totally accept that what happened was personal and solely for YOU and it may indeed be your liberation from whatever religion/faith/belief was enchaining you previously.

When the word Medium was apparently first used..... it had nothing to do with 'service of others'.

Developing Samadhi should have been the liberation, and it seems to be the case in the East, but not here. And it has effectively been a liberation for me, but it had not been acknowledged.
Mediumship is a respected status here it seems, that's just the social aspect to it.

In other words, a year ago I had realized (that I AM) but people would say "what? you realized what? are you sure you're okay? stop watching youtube!"
But now people would say "aaaah, you're a medium, that's cool! my auntie does these stuffs too!"

Guillaume seems to have accepted that what's happened to him wasn't the emergence of mediumship so much as an altered psychic/spiritual awareness. That's just fine of course - more ways of skinning a cat than one.

Agreed, and native languages too! In French there is no differentiation between psychic and medium, all psychic people (even with just a few siddhis) would be considered "medium", and in common terms people would say "voyant" (clairvoyant, but literally someone who can see) for any of them.

People can call themselves whatever they choose but that doesn't change what they can do.....

Perhaps one reason psychics and mediums are often considered synonymous is simply that the differences are not understood. As in Europe so in the USA where I presently am. Less so in my homeland of England, UK, where there is more awareness but even there I see misunderstanding.

The meanings of many words change over the years, decades and centuries. There's little to be commended in using a word nowadays the way it USED to be used decades or more ago when things have demonstrably changed.
