I actually threatened divorce If it wasn't taken out of the oven and out of my house.
I know it sounds as though I am contradicting myself because I am 100 % an omnivore , but I couldn't do the deed myself.
I know things would be very different if we were still in the caves and we were taught to hunt , catch and prepare our own food , but we're not.
I can swear that I don't even think I could cook and eat a freshly laid egg even though they are meant to be so much nicer than shop bought.
In short , I can't eat anything that is "still warm".
Also I only ever eat anything from the food chain.

But as for the spiritual aspect , it's makes no difference.
Would be crazy to assume only vegetarians are spiritual.

Does being a vegetarian provide some benefits in one’s spiritual life ? Yes . I think it does . The physical and the spiritual cannot be separated . The spiritual comes from the mind and the mind is in the brain which is in the physical body . Personally I feel bloated and heavy and sluggish depending on what I eat and my digestive organs have to work all the harder to get it through my system . I’ve read that the body doesn’t need as much food as most of us think . Learning that was an “aha !” moment for me . Giving up meat wasn’t hard for me . The meat you buy today is just not right . Too young chickens injected with salt water and beef that’s been traumatized in slaughter houses . That negative energy transmits to you when you eat it . I could go on and on because I feel very strongly about this but I think that vegetarians have greater spiritual peace than flesh eaters .
