Signs from our animals who passed away?

Something quite odd happened this morning just before dawn, and I thought I'd share it in case something like this has happened to someone else too....

I was in a deep sleep, not even dreaming, and was awakened quite abruptly by the bed moving down to my left, and I heard the slight creaks a bed makes when someone moves in bed. This was a very "real" sound, woke me up, and I was completely physically awake, not in an OBE or something.
My first (sleepy) thought was -OK it's my dog (she always did this in the night. Got out of bed, then got back in again!) Next second I realized it couldn't have been her. (She passed away 10 months ago) I made a mental note to remember this weird thing later when I woke up.

I lay there a couple of seconds, then was so sleepy I decided to go right back to sleep. I closed my eyes, and at that moment -instantly -I was shocked to hear my dog shaking her whole body out right next to my pillow and my head! The sound was unmistakable, and also very very "physical" and certainly no dream. Needless to say I was completely wide awake again and tuned in to sense her, but didn't particularly sense her presence. I sent her a little blessing then was gone -back to sleep!

These two things were things she nearly always did in the middle of the night /early mornings. Get out from under the duvet, then climb up my bed and have a jolly good shake! Then get back in again. Annoying -yes, but I got used to it, and used to hold the duvet up for her to get back in again -every night.

My dear Tobi, something tells me that this experience is not the last you will have like that. I'm sure that Misty is developing all the time and will communicate with you even more clearly in the future. Trust her! Blessings to you both.

I believe we will see our animals friends again in the hereafter. I'm looking forward to it.

I think that is awesome!! I felt something nozzle my calf the other day. I recently got a 10 month old cat after my Siamese Storm died a month and a half ago. I instantly thought storm! He is still here.

I been letting this new guy sleep with me and my girls every night. (I realized that he like my other cats are not interested in my babies,) Anyways he slept with us for a few nights now he seems to come in says hey pet me and leaves. and then he is back later. I think that Storm is there sometimes and there is this lets take turns through the night. Like they are watching over me and the girls.

Tealtwist, if you and Storm had a strong loving bond, then it is indeed, highly likely that he will come back to visit you. And if so, he has probably already made good friends with your new addition to the family -your new kitty!
If love was a strong motive for them when alive, their love can become even stronger after their passing.

Yeah, it is nice to know that your dog still comes to you!

I think that my new cat is a female cat I took in 2008 anyways she had unique things she did.She was a sweetie. I had to take her to a farm due to some behavioral issues. She became a wild cat. But was doing well. There are other cats there. A sow crushed her.I felt awful.

Anyways the new cat I think is her. She used to sit a watch me fall asleep and paw my arm. She loved sitting in the bathroom with me. She would dip her paw in. She would meow till she found me. This new cat does all these things.
I mentioned it to the bf. and he is like well lets hope she didn't take her behavioral issues with lol

I find it amazing how pets come back.

That's very interesting about your new cat. To have the same characteristics as the little one who passed away...it does sound as though she may have returned to you.

It really is amazing how much love they have for us. And loyalty. People who can't sense their animals coming to visit -it might just be that they are not "listening"....or it might be that their animal has stuff to do in the other world, and can come sometimes, but not often. I think it can depend how easy they find it. Some find it incredibly easy to navigate the astral planes with ease. It might be because they have fewer barriers and "blocks" in them than humans. Humans' intellectual abilities are a great thing, but can really get in the way!

I often think they come to us -as spirits -to help and teach us. They don't stay long on Earth in physical form, but even when they have gone back to their spirit form, they can still help us! I believe they have come to help to show us great truths. It is a privilege to have a good bond with an animal, in my opinion.
