What a man.
We rem our first feelings when someone famous passes, I think.
I was so happy for him! My gosh, he made it to Easter to give people
the gift of seeing him one more time!
And I am always so happy after long illnesses that someone is now Free! Home!
(Not a day goes by I don't read or listen to something about the Other Side!) I know he is so happy!

He 'did good' this life here!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones...Meditate unceasingly, that you may
quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery.

These few lines from an old hymn (471) speak in accord with what is being said as description of the nature of Pope Francis.

" Oh bless the shepherd, bless the sheep,
That guide and guided both be one:
One in the faithful watch they keep,
Until this hurrying life be done. "

X.

Death is not the end of everything, but the beginning of something.

Death is not the end, it is a new beginning because eternal life, which those who love already experience on earth in the occupations of every day, is starting something that will not end.

And it is precisely for this reason that it is a ‘new’ beginning, because we will experience something that we have never fully experienced, eternity.
Pope Francis.

I remember his 2015 encyclical Laudato Si', https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laudato_si%27

He will be well remembered in general, for his actions, humbleness, and opening up abou things. Takes some guts.

Rest in peace.

I've learned quite a bit about Pope Francis.
Vatican City, like most places, has many homeless hanging. around.
So he had showers installed outside of the Vatican!
Hearing they had a hard time getting jobs every Wed he had a barber come to give haircuts. :)
Such a simple thing... but did the other Popes do things like this?
Many more personal "inside" stories...I see now why they called him the Pope of the people.
He was certainly different.

(Do I like the Catholic Church and its teachings? They are not for me, some sure.)

He alone could not solve the worlds problems, I hope the next Pope follows in His footprints
and speaks out for those who can’t speak for themselves.

The Palace Of The Poor.

Pope Francis turned a luxurious 19th-century Vatican palace into a homeless shelter.
