Raven Poet - I agree a little in moderation does create a relaxation that I don't normally feel within the self and it dulls the voice of skepticism. It also allows a freer flow of energy. But, moderation is very very key and I hate self-control! I don't go to group thingies and when it comes to healing, I make sure I'm stone cold sober for 24hrs ahead of the healing.

I've also requested a life between life reading and I'm remaining sober until that comes through.

These are just personal preferences.

It has never been intentional. I've never for example been about to meditate and drink. lol. if so,i would picture that making my meditation experiences weakened. I just know i've been through certain significant things before with alcohol in my system.

I do think because it slows you down, and puts you in a relaxed state that it has something to do with it,and also something about what it does to the subconscious and linking it to the conscious, kinda putting you in this surreal kind of state. This in turn i feel opens something, and can make things easier to manifest. if you are not someone who has alcohol problems(someone who can be addicted)and can enjoy it,i think it can be beneficial to have it sometimes..though i dont meant during meditation..all this happened during normal moments of life. I would not attempt to drink during meditation. I feel it would block something off a little..well,hopefully i make sense,it's just the fact that i've been through certain things that have been profound to me,and i know it's wasnt just because i had alcohol.

i read somewhere that it opens the heart and throat but weakens the third eye. so,maybe it's something more of that. but,i know in hindsight,i would look back and got a strong understanding of past, present, and future and understanding post a few experiences.

Shure - I meant that to write down afterwards what happened so you would be clear - never a bad thing to do to keep a journal.
