kundalini awakening/soulmate meeting

My kundalini is awakening after the meeting with a soulmate. I'm suffering many health issues due to my kundalini awakening (headaches, nausea, digestive problems, palpitations, weight loss etc). I need "practical" advices in order to deal with this strong energy. please help!

I always found that when I was moving around I didn't feel it as much. I also used imagery to ease the way I felt as my lower chakras were opening. I imagined water flowing through my head, gently eroding blocks and carrying it out through my feet. I'd also affirm out loud that my energies are balanced, flowing freely, gently and harmoniously.

I found all that energy to be a psych out but I didn't have a lot of trouble. I didn't get a lot of sleep the first couple of weeks though!

Maybe a reiki master that can help ease the blocks.

Hi Martyn. If I may ask, what makes you certain that your kundalini has awakened? Is it possible that just strong emotions emerging from your new association are overwhelming you?

Kundalini activation is a significant and wonderful process. However, it can be equally uncomfortable if it's activated before it's time - ie, before your physical system has developed the capacity to channel its strong currents. The K force is essentially trying to rush through all blockages faster than you're able to handle; and the resistance from those blockages is what's giving you the painful experiences. If you are indeed experiencing spontaneous kundalini awakening, here're a few possible things that might help in managing it:

1) Try getting help from the Reiki Master as suggested
2) Read the book "Kundalini: The Evolutionary Energy in Man" by Gopi Krishna. It's a famous case of a person who had spontaneous Kundalini awakening.
3) Try controlling it through Sahaja Yoga. SY is a Kundalini yoga system which is apparently good at controlling the excesses from K arousal. It's like getting control rods into a nuclear reactor to moderate the burst of energy. Over time, your blockages will erode away and the flow of energy shouldn't be uncomfortable any more and at that point you'll be delighted that you actually had the kundalini awakening.
