Help understanding the heart chakra

When my heart chakra was activated energy poured out my front in two places and oddly from a small spot by the lower left shoulder blade. Is there someone who can help explain, and maybe point to their favorite resource for information regarding chakras? Thank you!!!

Bought the books on Amazon. Maybe i will also find out what the sensation is on the left side of my throat. Been assuming it was related to the vagus nerve or the heart opening since it is where you would put your fingers to take a pulse. So excited to solve these mysteries. Thanks again!

I have read that when activated energy pours in from the back of the heart chakra instead of the front, it's safer this way apparently.

Interesting! Just read an article that said the front of a chakra represents intention and the back will.

ln Satyananda's book he mentions the 'Kshetrams' at the front of the body, and how concentration (or anything affecting this kshetram) on these would send energy to the chakra, which in turns travels to the brain. There are many smaller chakras but perhaps in your case some of the energy went up to the brain..but came out at that point for some reason..

In many of the practices of kundalini yoga we have to concentrate or focus our awareness on the chakra trigger points in the spinal cord. However, many people find it easier to concentrate on the chakra kshetram located on the front surface of the body. In kriya yoga particularly, the chakra kshetram are utilized in many of the practices. The kshetram can be regarded as reflections of the original chakra trigger points, and when we concentrate on them it creates a sensation which passes through the nerves to the chakra itself and then travels up to the brain.

I have read that the front of the chakras represent the manifested and the back the pre-manifested. From my own sensations and energy movements I generally believe this to be correct, that when I actively love I am using the front of my heart chakra, or when I actively assert myself I am using the front of my solar plexus or when I feel emotional I am using the front of my sacral chakra.

Most people are centered in the front of their energy system but I seem to be centered in the back instead for some reason.... so yeah I'm not a very active person lol. I guess I spend a lot of time in the 'pre-manifested' state. Which can be confusing...

So I would say it could be like the strands of consciousness from the soul or source enter the back and travel out the front. Not really sure, just hypothesising.

Lol! When I finally linked it to the heart, I thought it was what happens when you have too much pressure. At the time it was flowing out of the front of me like a Care Bear. Ok time to Google Kshetrams

Yeah, it's a big subject.
A similar thing happened to me just after l met my twinsoul (l knew nothing about twinsouls at the time). My heart-centre just burst open with a pinky-white light pouring out. After a while it formed a bridge of Light going to this other person. The third-eye also activated, but not fully.
l don't remember anything at the shoulder though..
