not hurting himself
by trying to be too helpful...
not that he really begrudges them
anything
just
there is a price
for sharing
and right now
he wants to see
what it is like
to not pay it.
they don't much care
about that
though
anyway
because after all he is very creepy
and they don't much
want
to hear from him
anyway
so it isn't like
he's holding back
something they actually want

after all his
taking beatings
he has a nice feeling
in the solar plexus
but he isn't really working on it
right now
having found out
that all this having to strive
and endlessly be maintaining
what one has
or is trying to get
isn't very natural.
It seems to work a little better
when one lets trees
grow on their own
without trying to forcefully guide them
into looking
some specific way
one has been led to believe
they should look.
So often
any more
he takes a chance
on not achieving
whatever goal
they told him
it was best to achieve
from wherever he happens to be sitting
today
just to have a rest
and let things grow on their own.
