Strange spirit guides?

Hello!

I've done plenty of meditation and one especially is when I don't know if it is all imagination or really someone from the other side visiting in a role of a spirit guide.

This is going to sound strange but one time someone came looking like...I did not know at the time as I later tried to search and search for it...and ask and ask...nobody had heard it. Then in a complete different concept I finally saw what I had seen in my meditation. It was in a very old photograph of a group of men where only few were visible but the rest covered in the exact same clothing I had seen the man/creature wear in my meditation. and the thing they had on their heads. In modern terms this religious, secret group were Wiccans.

One other time, and this is rather scary, I first got a pre visit, just 1-2 seconds when suddenly having my eyes closed and dreaming. It was of a man looking like a skeleton in the face.

I had heard before an ex of mine complain that something, skeleton man, was after him, or that was his fear.

When seeing him I thought hoodoo, voodoo "doctor man". I still don't know if my "vision"? was the same as the exes but the description is the same.

I have before had during past life experiences a short glimpse to reveal both my past life self and the ex past life self had this belief or were raised or took on this belief.

I have asked myself if the ex had a past life experience and brought the skeleton faced man with him back, if they connect, if they found each other?

In my meditation the hoodoo man came again, this time for "real", not a pre-warning.

Do any of you get a surprise sometime of who or what appears as your spirit guide during the meditation?

to me it is then different spirit guides from different religious belief system. One I get, The voodoo guy, but not the other.
