lol, I wrote a speech on "Pet Rocks" as a child. lol "How to Train" all with a serious expression. lol thank you for nudging that memory.

I think the earth resonated with me long ago. I just felt no need to label it.

Found a new rock today, it is granite and a grater scraped the top and made a heart shape on the top. Had to bring it home. I wonder what the properties of granite are? ... *off I go tolook it up! (I am so glad you all do not judge harshly. )

I live in the Southern part of Arizona. The Grand Canyon is at the North of the State. If you look down into the canyon, it is over 1 mile down. The rock formations down at the bottom of the canyon are known as Schist and are 1.7 billion years old, the oldest stones/rocks in Arizona. Where I live, if you look closely, you can find outcrops of that same Schist that you find at the bottom of the canyon.

finally a well behaved pet ~ right up there with bonsai and fish ~ maybe fish aren't always well behaved but at least they don't make a bunch of noise ~ and they don't tear up anything outside of the aquarium

I couldn't help myself... a smaller strawberry quartz skull...

I used to have one, a Wilson carving from Brazil, but allowed it to move on.
Of late I regretted it so the longing for another strawberry quartz crystal skull came up. I ignored it for months, I didn't find the right one either.
And then the other day I did see this lovely piece. I still waited over a week. And so did he/she, no one else bought her, hihi.
Then I decided to go for it.
It's on its way from the US. Tracking isn't clear so wait and see when it will arrive.
But he exudes such an aura of happiness and joy!! I hope he gets here soon. I think a 'he' but not entirely sure yet.

I have never had a crystal skull, but I do have a bit of strawberry quartz.

I feel strawberry quartz is warmer than Rose Quartz. Like a bit of sunshine.
