Does shyness extend from one life to another

if you were shy (introvert) in most recent past life, would you likely be shy in the next life? Or could you be an extrovert in the next life?

It really is just a matter of choice. We choose the habits/personality traits we have from one incarnation to the next. If we had bad habits, we can let them go before the next one.

I started out shy in this lifetime and now I'm just quiet but the real me comes out with certain people. I do believe both traits came from a previous lifetime and are not bad traits to have therefore I kept them. I am also extremely goofy around certain people and definitely did not get that from either parents so I know it wasn't genetic.

It depends if the personality trait helps us to fulfill our chosen life purpose. Shyness may be the barrier chosen to overcome in fulfilling that purpose. Well-known case in point: Back in the 1990's, an abortion clinic was bombed. Several people were hurt/killed in the bombing. A very shy employee of the clinic came forth and spoke out against the bomber, going on national TV and various news shows, something that she would never have considered doing prior to the bombing--due to her shyness. It took that event for her to overcome her shyness because it was such an important issue to her. And she eventually fulfilled her life purpose--a famous public speaker on women's rights. That barrier of shyness was in place when she was born to call her to the challenge, forcing her to take courage and hence, progress in her spiritual development. True story.

Is it a bad thing in your opinion to be shy/introvert?

Because your personality trait is about to take over........believe me?

Spirit has a way of bringing out the truth of you...and its interesting as an Infp myself...sometimes I feel like I can be mohammed ali :) ..so introverted is only that way if you want to stay that way...

Our nature and processing changes as we change...but every step is valid along the way....so I love my introverted side...:)

Shyness may be an issue your soul has to overcome, if you don't do so in one life, it carries through to the next, like a lot of issues, until you finally deal with it

What if, in order to become "One"...you have to gather all personality profiles during different lifetimes?

Shy in one life

Brash in another

Brave in another

weak

and so on....and so on......................until you experience it all...and become whole

I kinda disagree with some of the things said above. I believe our core personality traits follow us from life to life, and that it takes many lives for us to change fundamentally.
