And how did we go astray, we needed to learn about right from wrong, the tree of knowledge.
It's a soul's journey, but hard to historize???
The bible did it poetically, some read it like a book.. Lol.
But the snake, that darkness, it has claws.
Good and bad desires, confusion, and all... as the human heart beats.

Aquarian Gospel of Jesus The Christ … fascinating, in case you are not familiar. Jesus, as the son of God, appearing at the commencement of each Yuga is intriguing.
Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism … all are fine in their own right but if thought is to be rested, what remains? Feeling that, as in feeeeeeling, we imbibe & assimilate a truth which even if shared, cannot be ‘transferred’.
The letting go of, to get to, thus becoming by dwelling in silence is the non-practice of simply being.

I like it, I can obsess on that now.
If thought is rested all that remains is the ground of awareness behind thoughts. Pure Consciousness, but then there is heart wisdom, the pool is deep, as the lotus flower opens. I agree with you. I go camping for weeks on end, and the first few days are unsettling as the mind unwinds, and then the stillness moves in and shows me, that if I can't find peace in the wilderness, then why not rest in being?
These Godly energies are so real, purity and Love. Nice!
A battle continues, however, in my soul with all the other energies and vices like lust, pride, and spite.
You know it's a big picture, I have had moments of transcendence, and I know I need to smash the mold, habitually returning, to who I care not to know.

Yes, initially yes but if we choose to be in a continuum of reflective contemplation, mindfulness, we are able to distil thought flow, soften attention, seeing all as aspects of God essence on a journey, thereby recognising and so accepting each entity as they are.
Lower energies do surface but are spotted as soon as they arise as we look at these bubbles good humouredly.
