One baby-step at a time ~
Most of us have an aspect of our~self or our life we feel we have to heal. And I agree it ain't easy. And I do agree pray combined with belief is powerful. Yet I also believe in the unknown energy surrounding us, from this seemingly endless "beyond", influences our life in ways I'd never say are proven.
Without our internal awareness (emotions), combined with our desire to fix or change something about our~self, nothing changes. I don't think we'd be 'here' if there wasn't a desire to help our~self.
For me, I have to meditate, even wakeful meditation too, begins the balancing of my self-love and self-hate. Then I hope I'll be aware of my mind wandering to 'those thoughts' that start it pain all over. I have to be aware that just remembering, needs to end, because I am changing. Also easier said than done, but we NEED to stay aware of our goodness, our will, our path, you know.
Most folks in this day-and-age, don't have such freedom to think of their awareness of self. Being retired helps for sure.
I've voiced enough and I do want to.hear your view. I'm a part of the "lower class", according to the overall beliefs of USAians, yet I feel as worthy as any creature in nature ~ including you :-) ~ Joyce ~
