According to believers in the LOA, when do we die? And why?

Hii,

If it were to be explained by someone considering the law of attraction the main mechanic of what happens, them why do we die? I don’t mean that life after death isn’t possible, but there seems to be a strong “this world called Earth” where we have to stay for a while. But why does it end? Under what conditions? And when does it?

Much kindness,

Cosmic Wonder

I don't do laws so the so-called Law of Attraction has no meaning for me.

What I understand, though, is that we don't (quote) "have to stay" here on this physical level at all - we choose to do it for the experiences we may gain here and the effect that situation may have on our spiritual progress.

We die - our physical bodies die - when our animating spirit can no longer continue to animate the body in which we are temporarily 'housed' or if some other constraint comes into play.

It's what I've learned from those who are spiritually advanced rather than my viewpoint.

Is not religion just another set of theories?

Peace

So you don't do laws. Does that mean you are not affected by the Law of Gravity?

Peace

Indeed. We are told that the length of a particular lifetime and the decision to permanently leave the physical body is determined by the Soul or Consciousness. We have this idea that if someone dies in the prime of their life then they have died too early, but perhaps this was always their intended time of death. It provides many lessons for those left behind.

Although in the case of NDEs it often seems to be a personal choice whether to stay or go, but then we only hear the accounts of those who have decided to return.

It does raise the question, are there any accidents? I mean in the sense that someone may die prematurely before their intended time, such as in a natural disaster. Or do these people incarnate knowing that they will die in such a disaster?

Peace

I don't do the so-called laws that LoA is a part of, then....

Scientific laws apply to me just as they apply to everyone but the so-called Law of Attraction is what I call a principle.

accidents? All effects had a cause but I know what you mean.

I've heard there's no such thing as an accident but I've heard a lot of stuff and I'm not persuaded by all of it...... I do think that misfortunes occur and I am unable to accept there is no such thing as an accident.

I've discussed, debated and argued about disasters and outrages which result in many apparently unconnected deaths but I am yet to be persuaded they were all part of pre-incarnation planning by those who died in the events.

NDEs are always intriguing and rather like reincarnation we have more notions than firm guidance about both.
