If we were "born perfect" would we have any reason to be born?

Hi everyone. I think it's entirely possible that we are born "imperfect" because we wouldn't really have any reason to do anything if we were born perfect.
I'm the kind of person who doesn't like messy. I like everything to be neat and orderly but at the same time I think that it's in the messiness that I really find "work to be done."
This is just my thoughts but anyone else is welcome to add theirs.

I would have rather been born perfect, if that were the case I'd be Christ like.

Another angle

Well, I think we all know perfection is in the eye of the Beholder.
We have 'perfect' in the Heavens or Heaven, already.
Apparently the Creator wanted to stir it up a bit and make a 3rd Dimension...it's WAY
more interesting for Him, Who has no gender, to experience thru us.
What fun to be the Witness (like us watching an Epic movie) to experience
tragedy and triumph, agony and ecstasy, losses and wins, ebbs and flows, ups and downs.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

. I don't anything is perfect. Mainly because we each have our own opinion of what perfect is. Those imperfections are what makes us individual's and diverse.
That imperfect mess is really the most perfect thing to happen to us.

How would I know that I was born perfect?

I keep looking in the mirror but I still can't tell

First, just because you are perfect does not mean you would not enjoy the experience.

Second, you might come to help someone else.

Third, being perfect does not imply you can not change/grow. You might come to be perfect in more ways.

Fourth, you may be perfect because you were born.

Sickness, illness and disease?, far from perfection we are imo.
Old age?, unwanted crimes, not getting what you know in you heart you deserve.
Perfection?, far from it imo.

To be a bit more precise: perfect for which function or task?

If the question is in a religious context, perhaps better to specify the religion.

I know I'm turning this into a philosophical discussion on What constitutes perfection?
And that will get others disagreeing. I see the classic Bigger Picture here, that's all.

In the little picture - the dent in the car or illness seem wrong, bad, imperfect. I know that.
While in the Bigger Picture for that individual - it was exactly what they needed, even planned in the pre-birth plan or blueprint.
For what reason? To learn and grow.

So, in that way all mishaps or robberies (things that appear 'done to us from nowhere' unfairly) are there to learn from, thus, perfect.

What the person learns is for them...say, it could be for a lesson in detachment to things and concepts.
In this way, they, instead, would look to That Which Never Ends; the True Source of peace and love and fulfillment.

Thus, nothing is what it seems, but rather all is to bring us back to our Source, by many names...back to God, Home, Heaven,
Knowledge, the Truth of Reality, Bliss and so on.

So it is part of the perfect plan to be born imperfect - Yet, another paradox!
A paradox to get Man out of the small logical mind set - to the Mind of God.

My take.
