trouble ahead?
A couple of times recently I've received a 'server too busy, try again later' notification when I've tried to make a posting.
There may be no significance in experiencing such a message occasionally but a repeatedly similar situation preceded the eventual failure of the website last year.
Members who use SF to keep in touch socially might want to consider alternative ways of doing it should there be a repeat of the site's earlier difficulties.

That's what a number of folk reported last time, getting more common with longer down-times before the eventual site failure. Fingers crossed it's not gonna happen this time....

If it's about issues with the forums on this website then the administrator is the right person to ask.

just in case
A thought for anyone writing a detailed piece they would be unhappy to lose if the system fails.
Use a dedicated wordprocessor package and then save the completed work. Then copy the lot and paste it into an open posting page and submit it. If the system goofs up you still have the original so you can repeat the process until you've been successful.
Or use 'Control A', right click the highlighted text and then press 'Control C' before hitting the 'Submit' button. It's quick and dead easy but be careful not to overwrite your copy in memory until the original has been posted.
