Astrocartography

Hi there,

I have recently discovered Astrocartography and although there are a few calculators online, they don't really tell you how to understand them. I get the idea behind astrocartography just not sure how to correctly read my map.

I tried calculating one for both Tropical and Sidereal and had very different results in each. For Tropical, most of my lines cross over Australia (which makes sense being that I am Australian) and many in Canada which is interesting because my brother has lived there for many years. For Sidereal, all my lines came together in Russia. Extremely interesting to look at but I still don't quite understand how to read it properly. Does anybody have any info or knowledge on this? I have seen those maps but I don't know how to use them neither. However, if you are interested in studying which beneficial location(s) you can move to, I have learnt another way from Kapiel Raaj and Joni Patry on YouTube: it is to set the location that you are interested in moving to as your birth place. Because of the latitude and longitude, your ascendant will change, and you can compare this chart with this new ascendant to your birth chart. Beware of adjusting your birth time according to the time zone. For example, if you were born in Paris at 12:00pm, and you are interested in moving to New York, you have to set your birth time to 6:00am due to the 6-hour difference.
