From where, I ask myself, does this belief in reincarnation come? In the Bible, for all to see, it quite clearly states that once we are dead we stay that way until the trumpets sound and we, on the day of judgement, are held to account.

In fact the birth and death of Jesus demonstrates this quite clearly. For some reason - probably this so-called New-Age philosophy kicked off in the main by Moody's book(s), which finds reincarnation to be a preferably solution in the end.

This Hinduistic philosophy or religion and its accompanying karma has slowly slid into the total concept of today's Christianity where, not confirmed in any way it has worried away at the roots of Christian beliefs.

For a good overview of the possibilities of choice offered by reincarnation the Buddhist book 'The Tibeten Book of the Dead' shows just where the limits lie and to what extent you will have to deal with your delusions.

Thank you for sharing. Reading such a big part of your story, and seeing that you made it eventually, after such misery, I don't take it lightly, it's rare to see vulnerable shares like this on the web.
Namaste 🙏

Transgenderism shouldn't convince you that we don't choose our body.
Coming into a life with the sexual energy opposite of the type of body the soul choses, sets the soul on deep search into understanding what is her actual identity in these terms and what is gender at all. This intense conflict contributes to the soul's evolution.
However some people, not all, use transgenderism as means to escape their own issues with their dominant sexual energy because of socialism.

Just like a soul can choose to set on a life of a lightworker yet choose the most brutal and sadistic parents that do everything they can to mold their child to become as ruthless dark psychopath as they are.
This is an extremely tough fight to pick for a soul with big chances for suicide but through that 'she' can understand the very depth of suffering and the way out of it, which she can use as lightwork for others in big, wonderful, transformational ways.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.

ref post 22

This is a thread started on the premise that reincarnation exists.
I invite you to start your own thread
re the premise it does not...rather than derail this one.

.
We've done this dance before.
From where? My direct, personal experiences; meaning visions given to me.
Nothing from the Bible or anywhere else.

Altho, there are so many references that have already been posted to you personally,
if I'm correct, pointing out clear statements regarding reincarnation left in the New Testament.

Not that I am using these verses as proof of anything...that would be a waste of my time.
Why?
Many are dug in with their unchanging, rigid beliefs.
As I am unshakeable in my personal exps.

But, as long as people write there is no reincarnation or even Afterlife or God.
I will counter that with a diff take in some small way for others to read, at least.

Oh dear Busby I feel that you appear to be very judgemental and closed minded regarding reincarnation. Im not saying it is the true way, I’m wondering just what it is that you are hoping to achieve from posting those harsh imo comments on this thread.

Just a thought.

The soul, I mean. In Hebrew, the word "Soul" is considered a feminine word, so I kinda got used to that.

Just a thought.

I believe he has every right not to understand, or believe the beliefs, and stand his ground against 'em. In order to know you have to first not to know, we all came from not knowing and being confused. Imagine you were taught a certain thing your entire life and then a bunch of people metaphorically slap everything you've known in the face with new "newer age" beliefs.
And I think Busty's comment is actually an act of opening up to new insights, even if its in an angry tone.

I agree. We all seem to have come from a place of not knowing or believing things FOR SURE!

There is a time and place for stating your firm beliefs opposite of the crowd..ON a spiritual forum.
That would be in Strong Opinions and Discussion, tho.
And even there we are not combative or even encouraged to debate - it's in the Rules found under FAQ.
There are plenty of other Forums where we can 'have at it' and put on the gloves.

This just isn't one of them... to harp over and over on your particular 'rigid' disbeliefs.

I hope that makes sense...just saying, in summary...not here.
