Habits4Humanity, welcome to this Spiritual Forums. We are all somewhere on the path and many are excited about the place, or space, they are in. I have and age enhanced physical body, age-73, and was once where you are at now, except in my day there was no such thing as the internet, computers, or cell phones.
I listened to Dr. Wayne Dyer back in the 1980's on cassette tape, also Deepak Chopra, and a bunch of others, and got a lot out of it. The thing is to apply what you are learning, or what you connect with. I have been consciously on the spiritual path for more than 40-years, and have learned that eventually you will find that the wisdom you seek from others you have right inside of you, no matter if that person be a great master, you have that same greatness within you.
So I think what you are doing is wonderful, although I see it as a phase of spiritual development. The day will come when you will speak from the wisdom which you have in your heart; we all have it. It is just a matter of nurturing our own wisdom and allowing it to come forth; that in my opinion are the steps you are taking right now by seeking wisdom from others. It is not a good or bad thing, or a right or wrong thing, it is just part of the process.
If I may leave you with something; know that everything in creation has its pros and cons, good and bad lye side by side in all things. Nature can heal us and it can also kill us, human beings can bring forth loving tenderness and they can also bring forth horrendous pain, it is the dual nature of creation that it contains opposite poles. When you can see the perfection in spite of the pros and cons then you have experienced transcendence; then you will know how to move out of the way and allow your own inner wisdom to flow and come forth.
God's Speed in your journey.
