1Cor 15, "44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.").

Technically, yes. Paul was a proto-Valentinian Gnostic and material (hylic, sarkic , somatic) nature was on the bootom of spiritualty grades.

"But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ." 1 Cor 3
Paul's terminology, but in reality anything may happen...

Is it possible that physical world was created as a stage for evolution of souls?

G.Duval,

“All the worid’s a stage”….evolution is, therefore, a given. The intended evolution of souls is to transform from being Soulish to becoming spiritual. We can see a difference between religions in viewing this. On one hand the goal of Buddhism is to escape the world and its suffering. Christianity also recognizes the sickness of the world but has the goal of transforming and saving the world. Same diagnosis but two different goals.

Nope exactly the same goal , transform the 'self' through the Buddha's Teachings and therefore be able to help the world in it's transformation...... you have to start with 'oneself' to be able to help others....

Kabbllah operates with "bread of shame" notion. It may be that evolution of souls needed to overcome that notion of refusal of Creator's free gift.
