My grandson made thirty nine quid one night with “penny for the guy”. Quite a lucrative thing if I may say so. One guy came out the boozer and gave him ten quid. Must have been p………….

Hey wouldn’t that make a brilliant comedy theme, having a corpse as the guy.!
Funny that. I can see the guys from Little Britain pulling that one off. I’m just sitting here laughing thinking about it.

Jee. I’ve got a sick sense of humour ha

Haha... Me too ( sick humour)...
Don't really see them now do you ? Guys I mean.
Heehee , yes little Britain , league of gentlemen...LOL..I'm certain at some point a corpse has been used as a guy and disposed of on a bonfire .
I'm even wondering if a human corpse has ever been stuffed by a taxidermist and sat in a chair in corner of room !!!!!

Regarding thoughts about death...sort of, may I tell a very piognant story?
Found in the nderf.org site. ('rf' stands for Research Foundation).

When we die it has been said by thousands we have a Life Review, right?
So this, boy, now a man, dies and is shown the time he was in Seneca Park, NY, USA, (funny, it's where I grew up),
he stops and looks up at a tree thinking, "Wow, are you a beautiful tree!"

As you have heard we feel what others felt in our LR.
Well, this boy feeeeels what this tree felt....a happiness came over it.

This story always tears me up.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I have more cuz sometimes I think I've read every NDE.
Some are like 'wow'. BUT, the topic really isn't about NDEs,
tho I do think of my death because of all I've read.
We have a whole NDE section they belong in. :)

Death of form … why dwell on it? To what end?

We are being breathed by God’s breath. As such, when the life force is finally withdrawn from body, we flow with It, as It’s essence.

Ever wondered how we experience the void or any realm when we seem to be caged in limited form? Where are the fetters?

Those who have experienced OBE or NDE or have consciously astral travelled can possibly throw more light on this. We can keep speculating but direct experience is what counts, direct knowing.

I’ve experienced an NDE once and my life force was also momentarily withdrawn on another occasion as a part of a guided spiritual tour offered. From our consciousness point of view, death of form is a nonevent. That’s my view. However, let’s hear what others have to say on this. We live and learn.
