Is death just another illusion?

The soul is less prone to pain and death- the body however can burn to ash- leaving the soul without a vessel… is death just an illusion when it comes to the soul?
It isn’t an illusion in regards to the body as it becomes ash-

I think the soul fights death much more than the body does…

The personality may resist the idea of death because it fears the unknown, or it fears the possibility of oblivion, or it fears the prospect of eternal punishment for various imagined sins.

The Soul does not fear death because the Soul knows that death is simply discarding the physical body with all its limitations. The Soul knows that it is neither born nor does it die.

It is a mistake to project the qualities of the limited personality onto the Soul.

Death is not an illusion because (as pointed out) the body is burned or otherwise disposed of. The soul does not die, though, because it is eternal.

In human form we may try to fight death but the soul is unlikely to unless it has important, unfinished business. If so it may delay for a time the death of the body it animates.

After they pass over, those who used to believe death was the end of everything will find their beliefs had created that illusion.

Absolutely right soul never dies. It's our body how expires sooner or later but soul are made of ever lasting.
