The brother of one of the shooting victims in Florida just said the same thing on TV, almost exactly. I can understand why nobody listens to me but it's harder to understand why the people directly effected by the Florida shooting are also ignored.

It's like people just want to turn a blind eye and forget about it. Maybe it scares them. But do they realise that if this is repeating itself regularly (about once a month at the moment - the monthly massacre), then the very act of ignoring it guarantees that it must continue to repeat itself, like a recurring dream.
In that way people are (I suspect unconsciously) choosing for these shootings to happen in preference to being involved. I suspect that these mass shootings will go from monthy to fortnightly and even to weekly. All totally avoidable. Actually, quite easy to avoid. Will people force themselves into a perpetual state of denial in order to avoid thinking about it? Or will they turn to face their fears and actually deal with this, before more of their own children are murdered? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if people love their children strong enough to face their own fears.

Dear dream jo,
8:50 is not that late, but if you think that is late, you maybe should think about adopting another cat.
I am thankful that the cat was patient last night and let me sleep until 6:40 AM.
