watching Charmed right now

witchcraft ~ seems to be about wicca ~

I have several books about wicca and it didn't seem to be anything I would be interested in from the books ~

but I'm much more interested in it after watching this series ~ I am probably about half way through right now and I still have a long way to go until I finish the series ~ but I really like it so far

I don't think anyone's mentioned the Kung Fu (1972-75) tv series starring David Carradine. It's surprisingly good if you haven't seen it. Set in the old west, it features a bit of Taoist philosophy in each episode, and is rather low key for an "action" series. Typically they don't beat you over the head with the theme, just present it and get you to think about it. So much better than most tv shows from that time period.

There's a must see episode with a very young Jodie Foster called Alethia I think. I've no idea where you can find the series. I've got some DVDs, but they were quite hard to find years ago and are pretty low quality. Had to return them three times to get a set where most of the episodes would play without getting stuck.

Ignore the sequels by the way. They aren't spiritual at all imo - just magical fun. As for the 2021 CW "re-imagining" series I've no idea. Haven't seen it.

I never saw this thread...many great ones already ...I just found something on Showtime-
"Before I Fall'' --it actually changed my daily life a bit.
I don't wanna say anything about it, tho.
Revolver was not mentioned ---a surprise since it is a Jason Statham action movie.
Wait till the end when people speak ...like Deepak, I think,

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
