Something said and the Change it Can Bring

There are times when something is said and you really have to look at where and why it came to be. This was at work for me, a supervisor was frustrated as with the health issues I have had in the bast few years, I cannot lift things that were once a piece of cake to me. So she (and denies saying it) over a head set when a furniture call came in, and I responded, "I will get it you are useless to do it.". I get it we all get frustrated at times, and she was late trying to get to lunch break.

This turned into a meeting where it was discussed, and I honestly had to think hard on not just saying OK I do not need this job. I was livid over the comment but let it at first go. I did not want to leave but too I do want respect.

What came out of this was a department transfer in the store, I had to think hard on that one too as I am not a huge fan of that side of the store. I was able to set my intentions in what I could and could not or would and would not be willing to do. In something being said that was "raw" it came to be a positive in the end run. A sign that the body needed a break from the load I was trying to get back to taking on.

Swings and roundabouts as Heart my hubby would say that lead one down the right road for them.
