If astrology never existed

I think modern scientists shun astrology because of pseudo and woo connections,but let's imagine that there had been no thoughts relating to astrology,up until today when a renowned scientist noted the effects of the sun and moon on developing embryos and how these two celestial bodies interact with the Earth and effect genetic material and the development of DNA etc,where do you think this 'new' science will head? Is there a measurable subtle influence from the stars? We know the sun,moon amd earth can effect us through life and radiation can alter cells,any chance of tangible measurements?

The idea of tangible measurements suggests scientific instruments capable of making such measurements. The effects of the Sun and the Moon on this planet are more apparent, the effects of other planets are less apparent, especially those effects on the mental and emotional levels.

Adding in factors such as the relative positions of the planets (e.g. Mars square Saturn in the birth chart as compared to Mars trine Saturn) and such measurements become even more difficult. And then add further complications such as the astrological signs where these planets are found, and tangible measurements become even more obscure.

The objection of many scientists to astrology is that there is no obvious "measurable subtle influence" between other planets and the Earth. Until science discovers the etheric energy web which connects all things in this universe they will continue to ridicule astrology. Once they realise that everything is energetically connected then they might concede that astrology may be valid.
