A child killer

I had a dream where a child was killing many people around me. Strangely she targeted people quite intelligently and people would not even notice her often. Everytime she was with someone that person would end up dead mysteriously.

Then one time there was an event in the dream and the child went out with someone. In the dream I felt that it was odd because her intentions were always to kill anyways...then after a while the mother brought th child in..she was in blood , apparently she did kill and it was clear.

I don't remember too well but then still the kid continued to be around. I grew increasingly uncomfortable but no one noticed despite the fact that she had been caught and everyone acted normal around it.

I think this dream is showing you in a dramatic fashion that you have picked up a habit in your childhood that is harming you. It has become normal for you and you don't notice it nor do anything to stop it. The dream is showing however that you are now becoming aware of it and are no longer comfortable with the behaviour.

Do you have a tendency to cut yourself down as a means to put to rest the things about yourself you think need fixing? You may be too hard on yourself, a trait, as Tomma said, you may have picked up as a child or it is showing you that this behavior is born from innocence. Either way, you are becoming aware of how this is actually counter productive to your peace of mind and though you may not be fully consciously aware you are waking up to the patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck in self judgment.
