What is spirtuality?

Spirituality = having to do with spirit and there exists four primary kinds of spirit.

Spirituality is an umbrella term covering such a broad range that I think I'd find it hard to come up with a good definition in a reasonable space! Also it has a lot of historical baggage, like religious terms, so I'm hesitant about calling myself spiritual in public. What is spirit? The root meaning is breath, so I guess is pointing to the difference between a living animate organism, and dead matter. Since its origins, the word spirituality has been used in many religious and non-religious contexts.

If cornered, I'd say something like that spirituality for me, means reconciling the apparent diversity I see in life, with the wholeness I can also sense. And I need to train my awareness and intuition to do that. Is the universe a collection of interconnected 'things', or just one 'thing' giving the appearance of multitude?
