I found this post from Matt (the founder of the site) and I thought it might be nice to add our favorite quotes to this.

This thread dates to 2006

"He that falls in love with himself will have no rivals."
-Benjamin Franklin

This is a quote that stood out to me among them all.

I have a favorite quote.

"It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all." Lord Tennyson's Poem.

Did you know..... the poem is a tribute to one of Tennyson's late friends and the quote is often associated with heartbreak after a break-up. However, it was actually written about the author's best friend who passed away while abroad.

If the crow has chosen you as your spirit or totem animal, it supports you in developing the power of sight, transformation, and connection with life’s magic.

Wow, this thread's so old that it could legally buy alcohol in my country.

Er anyway, a quote - I think Rumi says it best: 'Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.'
What is your experience right now, in this moment?

It's better to have loved and lost, than live with that psycho another day.
-Anonymous bumper sticker

*I'll text in Navy Blue when I'm speaking as a Mod. :)

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
