Police Dream

In this dream I was driving along a familiar road. There was a police car ahead which was driving below the speed limit. I overtook it carefully, looking over my shoulder & back at the police car as I pulled across in front of it, indicator flashing as I went. I also saw another car, belonging to someone I know, which was a green car.

The overtake is bothering me mostly because I can't find any meaning for it.

I had another dream last night which seemed to give an answer to this dream. It made sense but I can't recall it now. I had thought that it might be about my guides & my attitude towards them, which is one of apathy & lack of faith.

But I now think that the dream is telling me that I'm past the point of needing help, although I remember looking at that police car with an attitude of mis-trust, so I wonder if there's indication of mist-trust towards my guides.

The police represent higher authority or in this case, your guides, and you over took them because you want things on your terms. You feel answers or guidance isn't coming fast enough and you want to get to where you're going now, so much so, you're going on ahead of yourself.

It is possible the Police Car is not your guides but traditional contemporary authority that is going to slow for you. The green car can represent your guides. You were scared of being pulled over by the authorities, by making and setting your own pace in your journey.
