An Eagle.
It looked like a black eagle but with the beak of a bald eagle, not sure if that's a trivial matter?
It was wearing a blindfold, but peaking out with one eye.
I think it means that I need to be careful, but would like a second opinion, thanks.

Generally a hooded bird of prey is a Hawk.. a Black Eagle ie a Bald eagle has a white head..

The eagle is the symbol of Truth. So, blindfolded and black might mean a hidden truth. Peeking would mean some part of you is seeking the truth (spiritual or physical) or some truth is trying to reveal itself. lt could mean your attempting to find out the truth about some person or situation..
Are you seeking a Higher Truth in your life??

Here on Navajo Land, we call the Raven (Ga'gii') a little Black Eagle. You can see where you are going with one eye. You are learning to see.

Maybe it means you are (sounds cheesy) flying through life not seeing what is to come. An eagle could be blindfolded and be flying but it still has the senses necessary to not hit something.... thats how i would think of it.
