Train ride
Two on the train

One with stacks of books
Written with words of wisdom and love
Gathered throughout human history
By wise men and women
From every corners
Of this earth
The one reads and savors
Every single words
Engulfing every bits
Thinking and thinking
Thoughts flow
From those wisdom and love ideas
Deep into the books and own thoughts
Oblivious of surroundings and of those around

The other one with just his enthusiasm
Looking around
Looking out
Enjoying the new scenery
Where the train races through
Engaging with fellow passengers
Savoring the ride
All its offerings
Feeling the joy
Of being present with self
Learning all with his own senses
Strolling through other sections
Observing and sensing

Then
Appears an old fragile woman
Loosing her balance as she walks
Falling on the floor

The One with words and his thoughts
Does not notice anything
Too deep into those words

The One with just his senses
Noticed immediately
Reaching out and helping the old woman

Billion words and thoughts
of deepest love and most brilliant wisdom
for all

Do NOT rise above

Just one ACT
of kindness with love
for just one

But.. Just maybe.. the purpose of the train ride itself is to act and not be still with thoughts ??

Heck, I do both when I ride a train. Day dreaming and wondering around.
