Just getting into the video...and this is a unique approach; one I've considered myself.
I keep hearing "enlightenment" is our natural state. We already are enlightened and simply living lives of pretension until we...figure a way out? Or, being beyond space/time, have our return to that natural state already planned? Can we consciously plan our enlightenment?

Makes ya wonder if he didn't just create a rather enormous enlightened ego... Can we be aware of when our will becomes God's Will? Can we discern, "I see I'm now "going with the Flow!" Can an "I" even do that? We can say our "personal self" will never reach enlightenment. Yet, all those that have become such were once "personal selves/egos".

He’s using well known spiritual key words and seems incoherent. An enlightened state would enhance, not deplete tranquil awareness.

He does seem to ride the edge of spiritual delirium, and the words he uses will not be understood by most. But, there is a faint train of thought within them. Not sure what "enhance, not deplete tranquil awareness" means. Sounds to me like he's simply living in the joy of the Moment whether we understand his experience or not. |

Yes, I'm persuaded that this is the way it is, it is not some other way, and that's that. 'Enlightenment' is another way of saying 'you as you are now'.

As for the guy with all the props, wonder if he could complete a journey to enlightenment without them ? Reminds me somehow of the Alan Watts observation, " That you don't need a practice fit for heaven but one fit for hell.."
Or if you want to know how Enlightened you are go spend a week with your parents.
