Switching from head to heart
Granting ourselves a fresh start
Which simply requires viewing with disdain
At ego cravings seeking short term gain
Embracing fully the divine love pulsation
With which we gently flow in resonation
Within

Yet makes ego feel
That it has appeal
The game of shadows
In waters shallow
Thus does follow
Ego borne overindulgence
In illusions of transience
Silences our conscience
If our ego craving affirmation
Leads to desirous stagnation
It is time for polarity rotation
By inwardly turned sentience
In nonchalance & innocence
In blissful exuberance
We are both the soul liberator
As well as our own tormentor
Free as a bird or our own prisoner
As we choose
