About Willpower and strategies to boost it

An informative article by Darcy Pittman on willpower and strategies, healthy behavioral practices to boost it.

https://www.talkspace.com/blog/willpower-what-is/

In 1972, research was done by psychologist Walter Mischel on preschool students on their ability to discipline themselves
to delay gratification, called the marshmallow test.
12 years later, Mischel found that those children who showed greater ability to delay gratification and self-discipline, had higher SAT scores
and fewer behavioral problems than their counterparts who showed lesser ability to delay gratification.

Thumbs up

Those here with all sorts of issues, please, click this link.

Excerpt: ''Willpower is defined as the ability to exert self-control and ignore negative impulses.
The American Psychological Association says an integral part of
this is using cognitive functioning to overpower unwanted thoughts, feelings, and impulses.
Willpower includes being able to consciously regulate yourself when needed.''

*I have practiced this for going on 2 decades. I had to for my peace of mind.
And so far so good!!!!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
