Blown away by Shungite.

I ordered a large chunk of shungite, it's larger then my hand. As I was unwrapping it (it was double wrapped bubble wrap, and some other padding) I became overwhelmed by energy to the point I felt like my body was shaking. My hands started shaking and I felt I needed to put it down, felt like a massive caffeine rush. I have it cleansing now, but wow.

Interesting...I bought some Shungite last year and I've always considered it a stone of energy rather than a stone of protection, but that's my opinion. I think I bought a couple of tumblestones to put in a silk bag but I wanted to buy a couple more. I would also like to buy a Shungite pyramid as well to increase energy around the home.

Hi Zarstrakova...pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by 'charging' your water with Shungite? Maybe I should Google it but I'm happy enough to let you tell me about what 'charging' water with Shungite does for you?

Charging 'your' water, is in many cases, identical to making an elixir with the stone/crystal/mineral, etc.

How would you people compare it with Black Tourmaline? I always keep a chunk of BT behind my laptop on my desk. I keep it there for various purposes, including all of which you are thinking right now.

Also, check this out about Shungite types, I had no idea. I wonder if there is a metaphysical difference between these types.

Wow!! That is so incredible - the power and energy that stones hold never ceases to amaze me tbh. I have heard great things about shungite. I'm more intrigued about it after reading your thread.

Definitely gotta add it to my list!

Shungite truly has metaphysical properties. It's off the charts compared to other rocks, gems, and minerals. Probably because it was here on earth long before other minerals formed. It's estimated to be over 2 billion years old. Way back when the earth was first forming it's crust. It's probably a meteor or something similar.
