The planet’s severe weather such as tornadoes, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes, blizzards, & earthquakes can be the planet’s way of releasing negative energy. LWs can often help the planet discharge this energy that is less severe.

I don’t completely agree w/ the weather being solely our creation & Virtue’s use of Lovelock’s Gaia theory even though both of these can be applicable in some instances. Lovelock is Spot On about the planet being a living organism. Earth changes are likely BOTH discharging the planet’s own energies that are completely unrelated to what is occurring on it & discharging human group energy. This discharging of human energies may be related to how we are affecting the planet as well as non-earth issues of humanity working out various issues amongst its groups of peoples.
I’m not to inclined to get into the human cruelty to nature stuff as this is applying intent to the situation that may not apply. This is a bit too much into human bashing for my preference. I completely disagree w/ the assertion that our ego, is self-destructive. Both our individuality (self/ego) & the planet’s identity are OK & there for a purpose.

It is of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE to NEVER attempt to limit the ability of the planet to adjust its tectonic plates. This includes earthquakes & volcanic activity. To limit these adjustments could be truly catastrophic.
Whenever doing work w/ planetary energies such as storms it is important to state that:
The energy be discharged as is needed w/ as little damage to people or property as possible consistent w/ Best Highest Purpose.
Sometimes Best Highest Purpose WILL be substantial & even catastrophic people & property damage & this shouldn’t be interfered w/. If, however, the energy is just the planet’s adjustment that doesn’t involve people’s energies, we can send our energy to this to help it be discharged harmlessly. One example of this is when hurricanes unwind their powerful energy in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, never making landfall. The planet makes major adjustments just like we do. A planetary sneeze can be a major volcano.
Virtue addresses collective fear w/ beliefs such as the apocalyptic prophecies in the first 2 paragraphs.
There are various methods that LWs use. While some avoid the news, other LWs enjoy keeping up on world events to know where to send energy work.
Virtue notes that it is important to see the world as whole & healed. This isn’t to ignore the problematic issues, but to use positive manifestation. Just like us, the world is, inherently, a perfect being. To help heal the world, our centering our self w/ respecting our own energies, feeling our own JOY is how LWs help heal the world. As each LW heals their self, the planet is also healed at the same time. It’s all interconnected energy.
