I love it, Dream! Those who maintain domestic animal companions are incapable of conversing with their humans have never bothered to take responsibilty for sharpening their tools of perception and telepathy. Dogs and cats know a rather large number of human language "words", but their primary means of communication is telepathic in nature, and a good deal more precise and accurate than our vocalizations. And the best of all? Neithyer you nor they can lie when using telepathy...!

Some time ago I was sitting reading, my sweet Cayce dog laying contentedly at my feet. After I finished the chapter I was on, I got the idea to take her to the park for an outing. I had "uploaded" the information, but had not yet hit the "send" button when she pulled it out of the ethers! She immediately got up and sat at attention, and when I said "What do you want?", she sent me a very clear image of her chasing her ball at the park...!!!! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Animals are sentient. They think. They feel. They communicate..... IF their humans are clever enough to enter into the methods and means they utilize to do so
Speaking cat or dog is not difficult. You just have to tap into your inner resources and get out of your own way.

Hm! Let's see if I can manage a Dutch translation. We don't tend to use the word 'man' in the same way as the quote does, much.

Niemand stapt twee keer in dezelfde rivier.
Omdat het niet meer dezelfde rivier is en hij niet meer dezelfde persoon is.

Give or take, that ought to be it...

Pray tell, who or what is Geordie? Is that your given name?
