previous relationship reading

Hello to everyone

I've done a 4-card spread recently about my previous relationship and i had these cards:
Situation:Lovers reversed
Challenge: 2 of cups
Advice: Queen of cups reversed
Likely outcome: 4 of wands

Probable intepretations: I'm stuck in this relationship, my love for him causes me trouble, i shouldn't be that sentimental. But the 4 of wands as outcome? I don't know how to interpret this. Any ideas?

Ooh, a nice easy one. It's nice to see you have used set positions for the cards as it helps give context to them. Exes, ugh aren't they the biggest pain in the rear!

Situation: Lovers Rx, - showing the pain of a relationship that no longer is, the separation, the heartache, the fact that you are no longer together.

Challenge: 2 of cups, - could be reconciliation, however, it feels more like reconciling to the fact that it is over. Wishing each other the best and going your separate ways (we have no idea what these two figures in the card do, or say to each other after we see them together, it could be a farewell hug, or she could kick him to the kerb).
And yes, it is a challenge when you still have feelings for someone, or you know it's over but they keep popping up just as you are getting yourself together again.

Advice: Queen of cups reversed - stop investing your emotions and attention on him.

Likely outcome: 4 of wands - things will improve, getting back out there and having some fun (I'm sensing friends inviting you out for some good times/socialising).

Hope that is of some help

I LOVE your choice of spread! I use that one a lot too.

My instinctual take was slightly different, but I'm reading 'your' spread from another part of the world + don't have the cool intuitive take Pisces Moon has, so take from it what you will

Situation:Lovers reversed. Pretty obvious - relationship breakup :(

Challenge: 2 of cups. Lingering feelings, which means the end is not super clear cut, meaning it's harder to move forward because there are still ties present and attempting to re-form between the two of you.

Advice: Queen of cups reversed. This says to me that you've got feelings you're trying to push under the rug rather than addressing, and may be trying to operate under a facade that everything's ok when it actually isn't on the inside. The solution here is to address these feelings; start with acknowledgement (and be prepared for the emotional rollercoaster, it SUCKS but is a natural part of life and I have so many feels for you). Get your pals around you and get into some therapy if you feel like having someone external guide/ride through the emotional journey with you will help make it more bearable.

Likely outcome: 4 of wands. This says to me that you'll come out the other side in the end - I see this as a celebration card saying "yay! I did it!" :)

So with reference to everything above - things feel really tough right now because you're a) not sure you can cut the ties and b) are struggling to deal in general, but trust me, you got this one and if you put the work in, it's only a matter of time before you come out the other side :)

All that make sense especially the 2 of cups because he's indeed popping from time to time... I hoped something better about 4 of wands, because i 've heard that many times it's a card of reconciliation, but i'ts ok. I knew that this combination was not very positive... If things improve for me will be fine. Thanks

Your interpretation makes sense too, most of the things you said are to the point. I wish 4 of wands meant something different, but what can i do? Thank you

haha if you want to get back together, or suss out the potential of getting back together, that is an entirely different kettle of fish

Eg you probably asked a 'passive' question (eg to gain insights)... but asking an 'active' question (eg what can I do to ___) can often produce very different answers.

As an ethical heads up, I should also mention that "Is it wise to try to reconcile with ___?" is also a good starting question for this sort of thing.

Well, the truth is that i've done alot of different readings concerning this issue and the result is confusion For example, i asked what should i expect if i talk to him about how i feel and i got ace of pentacles, if he's coming back 10 of pentacles or the wheel of fortune-the last one many times. In what should i do if i want him back i got knight of pentacles-a bit confusing
