I know people losing weight on either low fat or low carb diets. Personally, I found low fat to be very effective. I didn't choose to lose weight and am now at my old weight again, but after my appendectomy I lost a lot of weight in a few weeks time because I skipped dairy (and any drinks containing milk). I just couldn't find the desire for it. Slowly gained weight again the more dairy I consumed again. Why you think bodybuilders take so much whey? Milk makes a calf very big in little time. Dairy is meant to make you big, so unless you exercise a lot it is going to make you fat. So try to skip dairy is my tip. Look at Americans and their love of milkshakes, or the many dairy loving Indians with round bellies. Then see the skinny fish eating Japanese.
