John.
You told us that you were with your mother when she passed and that you had to travel thousands of miles to tell all your family.
Being honest I'm finding all this very disturbing.
If the "voters " are what I think you mean then I feel a bit sick .

I did travel over 2500 miles in one day, 23 hours.
I have talked to other families that have gone thru the same situation. The 'decision' is generally done by vote. It seems to be a common 'practice' which to me, is a 'darkness'.
I knew of one person that cast the only vote in one case which was to terminate. The person didn't want to be burden any more............

I have complained about this practice in the past but there appears to be 'no one' in my country that wants to listen.

Common practice in AMERICA ?
Because that's where your mother passed.
Allegedly you were the only one by her bedside .
It is a practice over here that is illegal and I'm certain that it's illegal in America .
If your mother had chosen to go abroad to terminate her own life then fine.
That would be her wishes.
But you still haven't had the nerve to say who the voters were ??
I honestly do feel really sick.

The trouble with posts like this can cause upset to many people.
There is an obvious difference between men and women.
One sex is no more important than the other,
We do not speak of Euthanasia here as it is am emotive topic.
