For what this life is worth, how much is it worth?
Is it worth all our pain? Sorrows? All the truth we bear for a higher purpose?

Is it truly worth it in the end? We expect that enlightment will fulfill our need and satisfy it adequately, but if it doesn't?
All we are doing is chasing an idea about enlightment or transcendence in order to reach there, but what if the destination isn't worth it?
Can we complain, call the manager? We are so strong, we humans are inexpressably powerful once we have designated a course for our life, this is true.

I wish to talk about so much but i don't even know where to begin. Can we begin where we are? Where are you on your journey? How does it feel? How ARE you where you are? Is it enough where you are right now? I sure hope so, otherwise i will call my inner manager in order to help you out a bit, i sure can help.

I wish everybody peace and happiness today, don't let the day bring you down, we need to be strong, there's no doubt about that sweethearts,

Wanting to understand better to comment ..

We can only begin from where we are are, right? Is life worth our pains?
Do you personally think enlightment is not worth it, perhaps just an idea?
Call the manager - do you mean pray, in more common terms?
I just didn't quite understand.

We can only begin and end from where we are, this is true.

As far as enlightment we can't know until we are there to experience the so-called enlightment that we have a cherished idea about.

There's no manager to call as far as i know it, he is called GOD but where he is is somewhere obscure, at least for me, i would like to call him and tell him a lot about why he's putting us in so much trouble. I do understand that trouble is what the path is asking of us, in order to reach enlightment a destructive process of everything we held cherished need to take place.

To me life is worth it, there's been days and moments we i've wanted to be somewhere else, but through supernatural events and miraculous happenings that both saved and swayed me away from being "somewhere else", i've stuck around. There's no denying that life beats us up, but we seem to be stronger than the worst that is happening to us, in that i am very happy, to find strength and supernatural guidance that saves us when times has been too much.

I'm asking if enlightment is really worth it because enlightment is my only way out from this pain i am having, i've tried it all and not a crumb of happiness remains in what i've tried, i do not find happiness anywhere so of course i ask these big questions. I do not know if enlightment will be worth it, i am putting all my eggs in the same basket hoping for a better tommorow.

And as far as the idea of enlightment, it is just an idea, do you have it? Do you have the idea you have been putting on a pedestal? If not, it is just an idea in your own constructed world about the whole of reality, do you see what i mean here folks? If it is just an idea in our own world that we have created from the information about enlightment, what solid foundation of it exists then? So the questions remains, is the "so-called" enlightment worth it? Is it worth the trouble it creates? I say no, but i'm crazy enough to continue

And where i am in my journey, how i am feeling etc.
Not too good, i am a hopeless case of a damaged human with no seeming way out in the physical form, i've been holding on to the trancendental realms in order to find freedom from this pain i am having.

Today is a spectacular day. It's my last day of work and as of tomorrow I'm semi-retired until December when I file for Social Security and will be officially retired.

At this inflection point I can talk about myself in several ways, however regardless of employed today, unemployed tomorrow or fully retired in December I'm still 'Me'. I can tell the story different ways, however it doesn't change what I really Am. Fully realizing that last bit is what's referred to as Enlightenment.

What I think you are calling an idea...I call blind faith...which I am not big on.
Seeing is believing, to me.
I've seen or exp'd enough to know what's what ...ya don't meditate over 50 years often 3,5,6 hours in stillness
and not learn a thing or 2. LOL!

I am very happy for you, good days are ahead, we are never really bored when we have a spiritual path to pursue.

The me will remain or it won't, the thing you and I AM is seemingly real, that is what i can understand from this experience i'm having. It seems real, maybe you are plugged into it but i am not so i can only speak from my experience of it. What remains should be real, what remains is what remains after nothing remained, THAT THING IS REAL according to my understanding.

Seeing must be believing otherwise we contradict what we have experienced.

50 years meditation under your belt is astounding, i bet you have alot to share about such things.

I'm not doing too hot no, but it is better so don't worry. I've only gained knowledge, wisdom and experience from these harsh desolate places. Miracolous things have happen when i have lived from my innocence about my experience, i have much to say about it but that's for another time.
