Two tailed snake and the number 56

Hey everyone, I've been having some very vivid, spiritual feeling dreams and wanted to ask for some insight in interpreting one of them.

In the dream I noticed the number 56 in several places. It was the number of my apartment in the dream and the address of the apartment building. I saw it on the clock in the dream as well, but I don't remember the hour on the clock. There was a woman in the apartment with me, but I only saw glimpses of her because she stayed in the back room, and there was also a bright green snake slithering around the apartment. It didn't have a head, but tails on both sides. I caught it and a narrating voice said that only a choice the woman made about herself would determine which side of the snake became the head. As I was holding the snake the two tails looked like they were energetically fighting each other to become the head, but that's when I woke up.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Interesting dream!

So the clock to me is a reference to the cycles of life. Seasons in the year, the moon, planets, they all make cycles and affect us in different ways.
Two-tailed snake is a strong symbol. The snake is usually sexual and creation energy.
In spirituality (yoga) it is said that your sexual energy is dormant at your root chakra and it must rise to the head across the higher chakras, along the spine, to reach your head.
The head is the direction, and two tails fighting means there is a conflict within you.
The snake revolving without head is also a way to show that you probably repeat the same patterns mechanically, and choosing a head, even it's the wrong direction, seems to be a better option than keeping things unchanged.

The fact that you caught the snake is surprising to me, because that's not what you're supposed to do.
Snakes represent a fluid energy, and you shouldn't grasp / hold the energy, it's not the natural course of things.
The narrative voice then interfering means you're expecting things to resolve from higher
But there is a fundamental contradiction between the will to catch the snake, and the headless snake

So, to conclude, to me you have enough will-power to master that energy, and you don't need it,
But you need to make a decision and resolve that conflict within you, basically use the sexual energy or not.

It's me (my brain, not the channeler) talking now, It's interesting because your dream is quite representative of the young generation imo.
Even if you can master your sexual / creation energy there seems to be something higher watching.
A narration, a film ... actors.
And I also find very strange that the sexual energy can be stopped this way, but it might be contraceptive medicine doing that.

Thank you! This has definitely helped me see the dream from a different perspective. I knew the snake was a powerful symbol, but I was stumped to what exactly it represented. Your explanation makes a lot of sense because for the last several years I’ve noticed I seem to be stuck in a cycle of repeatedly finding myself in very toxic relationships, which in turn has caused conflict within me in whether to give up on finding love or continue to take the risk of getting hurt. I hadn’t made the connection before, but it does make sense. I’ve also read that the color green can be associated with healing, which I suppose could represent healing my heart chakra.
Thank you again! =)
