Filmed live in the "Forbidden City"....This version of Yanni's Renegade feature American virtuoso Violinist Karen Briggs on violin solo and Pedro Eustache on an accompanying solo on the tenor saxophone.
I find it to be both epic and emotionally moving...but also a bit sad because this music is being made by virtuoso musicians of all races and colors and it makes me wonder how is that a species such as ours can create something so amazing and beautiful and yet be capable of such ugliness to each other at the same time.
