What is the direction of rotation of chakra ?

I'm asking because i'm interested in harmonizing, activating, balancing my chakras.

- The 2nd (orange), 3rd (yellow), 4th (green), 5th (blue), 6th (indigo) are horizontal chakra. And all have the same direction of rotation.

If you put a clock on your torso in a manner that the watchs hands are visible to somebody else, does the chakra have the same direction of rotation than the clock ?


- The 1st (red) and 7th (violet) chakra are horizontal.

For the 1st, if you put a clock on the floor in a manner you can read the time, does the red chakra has the same direction than the clock ?

For the 7st, if you put a clock on the floor in a manner you can read the time, does the violet chakra has the opposite direction than the clock ?

All the seven chakras spin in different directions thats root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, brow, crown and alternates between the body and soul every two hours too take in energy not sure if direction varies from person to person though but dont confuse taking food in as energy my information is from the Anatasi system

I learned the hard way that you really shouldn't mess with your chakras until you know what you are doing. There is a difference between someone who is driving a car vs. someone who is fixing a engine.

They may seem basic from our perspective, but they are not. There are many different layers within each and they are spinning in both directions. There is a main direction that the mass spins in, which is governed by your thoughts. As I have said many times, you are constantly traveling through the different planes of existence even while you are indulging in the physical plane. The only difference is your ego is becoming aware of it. I constantly have to block people out because I am tapping into them on a minute to minute basis. It's a real pain, but it has its moments.

you to must also be an empath i had many experiences of thoughts there not my thinking they were id spurt out what i was thinking to the horrified look on the persons face i was facing i could not understand why they were looking at me like that id said nothing to offend them i started learning meditation from an ex buddhist monk who set his busineess up which help to lessen this but i still get words or sentences pop into my head even after 60 years yes i agree messing with your chakras can be dangerous as you can let anything in i had training off chasra teachers they dont tend to rush it theres always a closing exercise after you finish working on your chakra or charas plus grounding

Look what I found:


Chakras move clockwise and spin the energy out of our body into the space around us and they spin counterclockwise to pull energy from our external world (and from the people in it) towards us.

I've never heard of rotation direction as something important for balance.

Here's what I understand as balanced chakras...

Express the best each one represents:

crown chakra - connect to Source (as best you can)
brow chakra - wisdom
throat chakra - peace
heart chakra - unconditional love
navel chakra - vitality
sacral chakra - supporting the navel with vitality
root chakra - grounded in the body
When you work on that and learn to move prana with the breath and intention, you will feel balanced. Then the chakras can support one another. There is nothing to scatter the mind. It's a good practice to start and end each day.
