A Graceful Fly

Oh, how elegantly
A fly
awakened me
To the true spirituality
of everyday life:

By listening
to my unspoken intention
Flying away
through the narrow gap
of a window
I had opened for It - :
Saving me
from the act of killing..

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Same holds true for a lizard for which I opened a door. Not quite the same for a mosquito, which I swatted! Discrimination.

A spider in my bedroom was not so lucky neither.
There was not a graceful way to let it escape.
So, it crossed over to the other side...
... from the bottom of my shoes that I smacked it with.

Please, if you wish, tell your fly story in the comments section.

Btw, do you think that a story can not be told in the form of poetry?

P.s. Don't worry. Perhaps the mosquito will return as a lizard in its next life.

In other words, it escaped - all the way to the other shore,
without moving an inch..Grateful, graceful.
Do I wish to be in its shoes? Regretted the killer.

Now

Go open a window for a human foe.

It would be a far greater thing...

Then a fly...

Yet we are seen in the most simple of things.

Some days they live
Some days they die...

Now, there's no way out
but to go in-side
Through the window
left open - by the Good Thief

For a greater foe
is Comparison to Eternal Life
Than death ever was

Aye!
Die..to the duality that plucks the Eye!
Climb! - The Tree of Life
& Fly fly
