I hope it doesn't go ahead!

How much do they plan to waste (Police), protecting those with licenses...

The poor badgers are being made the scapegoats for years of abuse and bad husbandry...

PS: If you really object to the killing of badgers and the abuse of cows there is one statement you can make that is more powerful than anything else....

STOP BUYING DAIRY PRODUCE!

Cow's milk is for calves!

What a stupid idea !! ....... Badgers ...... lovely wild creatures ....... now scapegoats with a target hung round their necks ........

If this logic was applied every time similar things arose, there would soon be scant little wildlife left in our country ........ the mind boggles .......

There are precious few of these creatures around as it is ....... its a pity they dont get the same protection in law as say Bats do ....... perhaps in ten or twenty years when they've been culled enough as to become an endangered species .........its an even more stupid idea when alternative action could be taken as a first step.

Perhaps a cull of politicians would be more beneficial ! They spread disease and poverty.

The trial of the badger cull is in the offing BUT opposition is ramping up fast. Now the Hunt Saboteurs Association is sending experienced activists to the areas where the trials are to be held, and farmers involved are being "approached" directly.
Did the government seriously think that the activists had quietly taken up knitting ?

[I still have not given on my dream of the wolf in Britain]

This afternoon the Badger Trust's appeal to the High Court to have the cull stopped was rejected. This means the way is clear for the British Government to carry out it's planned cull of thousands of badgers.
The cull could start within weeks.
