Buddha never taught we had a heart of darkness. Heart of Darkness is a novella by Polish-English novelist Joseph Conrad about a narrated voyage up the Congo River. Why do you think these writings are Buddhist? Copying Christian scripture or Prayers and changing a few words or phrases here or there in no way makes them "Buddhist." Why would a Buddhist be interested in reading mangled Christian scripture and Prayers? Don't Buddhist's have their own scripture?

The sources do not seem to be Buddhist web sites. Just seems to be a random blogger trying to get clicks.

Can you provide one link that shows Buddhist teachings on "our heart of darkness?" I can't find any.

This is the actual source by the way: The Bible: Matthew 5:8

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

which was changed to

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they have looked into their heart of darkness."

Then somebody claimed it is now a Buddhist teaching.

Yea, you'll be hard pressed to find mantra Buddhism unless you go pretty far out into the fringe sects.

I wonder why I have read so many fine testimonies by Christians who have had their "spiritual" lives deepened by reading Buddhist texts?

What is the point?

Do you really want to be so competitive and possessive regarding your Christian "values" or whatever you want to call them?

Yes it's definitely a Buddhist Teaching, from the way you are relentlessly trying to prove it isn't, I wonder do you actually know what it means ?

Sad really that some can't just stop 'Nit Picking' rather than see the wisdom
