my sun sign is Aries and it doesn't fit me very well. I'm stubborn and can be fiery when externally provoked... but I'm not remotely a leader, I'm a textbook introvert, lack self-confidence, scared of aggression, rarely impulsive, not even slightly a thrill seeker, total homebody, pessimistic, etc. I honestly wish I was more of an Aries in some ways, I'd love to be more fearless and extroverted and spontaneous. I also love other Aries so yeah, I like Aries fine, I just wish it fit me better.

however, my moon sign is Scorpio and it fits me to a T. I don't mind being more of a Scorpio, but I could live with being less moody and emotionally dramatic, but then I have borderline personality disorder so there's no getting around that haha.

I have Gemini rising and from what I've read, it fits pretty well. I like learning and being a student. I think I probably come across to some people as having the 2 (if not more) different sides to me, mainly due to the BPD. I've always felt I exist in a dialectic - on the one hand, I'm bright and bubbly and laugh a lot and like unicorns and glitter and fluffy things. on the other hand, I'm dark and negative and wear a lot of black and succumb easily to my depression and listen to a lot of sad/emotional music, etc. they're both equally authentic to who I am. it just depends on the day, what's going on and how I feel. I don't mind it about myself. keeps things interesting haha.

I also have the physical traits of a Gemini which I find interesting - I'm slender, long limbs, blonde, light eyes, pale, thin lips, very young looking.

Just like every sign it has it's drawbacks, I guess that's the purpose, we are born into certain signs with certain attributes to help us learn lessons that we wouldn't otherwise be able to understand under a different zodiac.

I'm just glad I'm not one of those people on the cusp, seems like that would make for a really complicated understanding.

I'm an Aries through and through. But I read something interesting recently that suggested our astrology had more to do with our past selves than our current/future selves. Since free will is more powerful than anything in our grasp we can choose to not 'act' like our sign because it reflects a past version of us.

I'm happy with my sign. I just believe Virgos often are poorly represented. There needs to be a better analysis getting rid of the old archetype of "Virgo The VIRGIN ". Is the symbol of the Virgin unhelpful in depciting this sign ? there is this book I want to purchase "Born to Be Together" by Terry Lamb in which the author describes this sign as Virgo the Harvester.

I'm a gemini sun, and I really like being a gemini! i don't 100% fit the stereotypical gemini, but I think that's because of the rest of my chart; I'm a Leo Moon and Capricorn rising, and mixing those two with the fact that I'm a Gemini adds so much to the mix of my personality and traits.
But I AM a may Gemini, and if i was a June gemini instead, I may or may not be more fitting towards the typical traits people associate with gemini.

I get along extremely well with Virgo, they make my best friends. I feel they are the most sensible people on the zodiac, they are empathic, nice, humble, selfless and grounded. I feel they are far from the ' virgin'. Most of my virgo girlfriends have had serious partnerships, more than one time, and they are good in love and serious/ committed/ daring/ wonderful in love. I recently have a virgo friend get married after 8 months of dating a guy and she had two serious past relationships. She is in her early 20s, still and she is young.
I remember talking to Sagittarius who said about her Virgo sister , and she said that ' She is always right '. That's because they can be very acute in their observation and it is very natural for them, almost like gut/ instinctual rather.
I love my virgo sisters alot.
