Being a messenger...
grazier, Yes, I am a messenger, one of many. Being a messenger is a realization we can have about our lives, and, once we have that realization, our lives are never the same.
In a very real sense, it is the same message that Jesus said when he told those simple people who had been attracted to him..."You will be fishers of men." He might have added "You will be fishers of men and women." So are we all. What we do with that realization is only the begining of a more wonderful life.

Good thoughts, LaMont, that is exactly what Jesus was saying.
We should all deliver the Message that we are given, it comes from the Source and for that reason.

Yes unto myself ... every time I speak I am left contemplating my own words for the first time

I am not in a position to judge others, I just help where I can and pass on the Message that I receive, after all, I am just a messenger.

If I was impressed by my helpers to use the archaic language which you used to describe what you did, I'd be questioning why....
I am in a position to judge others, though I rarely do. Comment, of course, is not passing judgement.
I am not simply a messenger - I have other roles...

Love does not judge.
Most of us are more than messengers, that is just one of our roles.

Love may not judge but I am simply an imperfect human and make no pretension to be anything other than that....

I am not a Messenger. I do not speak for God. I only will talk with others about my experience of God --including both the positive and negative aspects of it-- if it comes up or in a place like this. I do not even feel my role is to be a Messenger and disagree that we are all supposed to be Messengers.
The question implied here is that God is also separate from us..I think we are all One. But aside from that, I see this Earth experience as hugely creative and feel we were meant to create. We can share our creations and maybe in that way we are Messengers. But not in the traditional sense of the word.

I think it would be all too precious to suggest we're all messengers from god....and even more precious to suggest we're speaking on behalf of god other than in a general sense that the presence of humankind speaks for the presence of god in all things. But we may be messengers in other ways which are wholly credible....
We none of us speak directly on behalf of whatever you may consider god to be. At best we may pass on various messages from those who are closer in their understanding of god than we. In that any of us may have individual, personal roles.
Let's not pretend, though, that we have any more than that role to play.
Allow humility to enter the equation, eh?
